For our leather upholstery, we make use of top grade full grain aniline cowhide, providing a very natural look and supple to the touch; its original beauty means it hasn't been subjected to special treatments to correct the surface grain.
The leather hides (over 40 colour tones available) are entirely dyed in drums: the hides are immersed in large wooden barrels, and the colour is allowed to seep through the entire thickness of the leather.
The selection and working of steel is yet another fundamental aspect of our craftsmanship process. We use only first quality steel, to guarantee perfectly smooth and uniform surfaces.
In all cases, tubes comply to the diameter of the original design for each classic creation.
After the welding process, the steel is hand-brushed for hours, until achieving a perfect result before its passage to the chrome plating tub.
Tubular steel is chrome plated to a thickness of 22 microns, to ensure greater resistance to wear and corrosion. Flat drawn tubing is instead chrome plated to 48 microns.
